From here it’s back to Delhi as you embark on a train journey to Amritsar. Arriving in Amritsar after seeing more of India along the way you will visit the Harmandir Sahib temple – the holiest of Sikh Gurdwaras. The building is set centrally in an enormous expanse of water making for a truly stunning photo opportunity.

You will then visit Dharamsala – home to the Dalai Lama – the spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism located in the foothills of the Himalayas, before returning to Delhi where the tour concludes.
